R.I.P to Andre Young Jr. too. I have a few questions though. What are the odds that one of the best producers in the game could have at least 3 grown kids trying to get in the music industry without the help from there father? I understand the meaning of tough love but is there a such thing as torture love?

Producer Dr.Dre’s Son Found Dead

Andre Young Jr, the son of hip hop producer Dr. Dre was found dead in his home. Young was out the previous night and returned home around 5:30 A.M. accordiing to Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His mother went to check on him in his bedroom around 10 A.M,. found him unresponsive, and called 911. He was only 20 years of age. The cause of death is pending completion of a toxicology report according to The Los Angeles County Coroner.

Christina Millian to sue producer of “Dip It Low”

According to TMZ.com, Christina Millian is suing record producer Poli Paul for $300,000 plus punitive damages. In 2003, Christina recorded her first U.S. album for Island Def Jam. Poli Paul, a defendant, is the producer. Paul wrote the song “Dip It Low,” which turned into a monster hit. But according to the lawsuit, filed just minutes ago in L.A. County Superior Court, Milian claims Paul “very definitely” assured her “there were no samples whatsoever in …’Dip It Low.’”
“Dip It Low” allegedly did contain a sample written be Thomas Turino, Larry Crook and Dan Dickey. They released an album in 1983 called “La Sirena.” According to the suit, Paul was in a Pasadena, CA record store, liked the song, and looped a 12-second sample of it into “Dip It Low.”
